Inspiration
Glass is a material that can be a gift and a curse in that it contains unique and desirable properties, but when smashed or inhaled, can cause serious injury. These works were created with the hopes of inspiring others to rethink the life-cycle of single-use products.
Artist notes
- These sculptures can be hung and can also be freestanding in either orientation.
- Used as focal points for an exhibition where they hung in the centre of giant factory windows.
- The glass bottles catch and refract light, working like stained glass windows, they fill a room with a patterned fragmented glow.
